1. Respect for Intellectual Property

Forensiq respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same.

Users may only upload or submit content for analysis if they have the legal right to do so.

Uploading copyrighted content without authorization may violate applicable laws.

2. Copyright Infringement Notification

If you believe that content processed or made available through Forensiq infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice including:

  • Your full legal name

  • Contact information (email and address)

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed

  • Identification of the material at issue

  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized

  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information provided is accurate

  • Your physical or electronic signature

3. Response Procedure

Upon receiving a valid notification, Forensiq may:

  • Investigate the claim

  • Restrict access to the relevant content

  • Suspend or terminate the user account involved

Forensiq reserves the right to act at its sole discretion.

4. Counter-Notification

If a user believes that content was removed or restricted in error, they may submit a counter-notification including:

  • Identification of the content

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake

  • Consent to jurisdiction of the competent courts

Counter-notifications must be sent to the same contact address.

5. Repeat Infringers

Forensiq may suspend or permanently terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights.

6. International Scope

Although Forensiq operates under French law, it voluntarily aligns with internationally recognized copyright procedures, including principles reflected in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), to facilitate global compliance.

7. User Generated Content (UGC)

Forensiq allows users to upload, submit, or provide digital content (including images, videos, audio files, URLs, and related media) for automated analysis.

All such content is considered “User Generated Content”.

7.1 Ownership and Responsibility

Users retain ownership of any content they upload.

However, by submitting content, the User represents and warrants that:

  • They own the content or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions

  • The content does not infringe copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights

  • The content does not violate privacy or data protection laws

  • The content was not obtained unlawfully

The User remains solely responsible for the legality of uploaded content.

7.2 Limited License to Forensiq

By uploading content, the User grants Forensiq a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Process the content

  • Analyze the content

  • Temporarily store the content

  • Generate analysis reports

This license is strictly limited to service provision and does not grant Forensiq ownership rights.

7.3 Prohibited Content

Users may not upload content that:

  • Is illegal under applicable law

  • Infringes intellectual property rights

  • Contains unlawful personal data

  • Is defamatory, abusive, or harassing

  • Promotes violence or discrimination

  • Is used to target or intimidate individuals

Forensiq reserves the right to remove or restrict content at its sole discretion.

7.4 Monitoring and Enforcement

Forensiq does not proactively monitor all uploaded content.

However, the Service reserves the right to:

  • Review suspicious uploads

  • Suspend or terminate accounts

  • Cooperate with law enforcement authorities

  • Remove content when legally required

7.5 Indemnification

The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Forensiq from any claims, damages, liabilities, legal fees, or disputes arising from:

  • Copyright infringement

  • Privacy violations

  • Unlawful uploads

  • Misuse of the Service
